Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Lost Worlds website and facility operated by Playverse LLC ("Playverse," "Lost Worlds," "we," "us," or "our"). By visiting our website, purchasing tickets or memberships, or entering our facility, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Liability Waiver

A signed liability waiver is required for every person who enters the Lost Worlds facility, including parents and guardians accompanying children. Waivers must be completed before check-in and are valid for one calendar year from the date of signing.

By signing the waiver, you acknowledge the inherent risks associated with physical activity and the use of our attractions — including but not limited to the Super Play Structure, T-Rex Ninja Course, Aerial Course, Climbing Walls, Laser Tag arena, and Black Light Mini Golf — and you agree to release Playverse LLC from liability for injuries arising from those inherent risks.

Parents or legal guardians must sign on behalf of all minor participants. Any person who refuses to sign a waiver will not be permitted to enter the facility, and no refund will be issued.

2. Tickets & Admissions

Tickets may be purchased online through our booking platform (Roller) or in person at the facility. Pricing is subject to change without notice. Online ticket confirmation will be emailed to the address provided at the time of purchase. Please present your confirmation (digital or printed) upon arrival.

Admission does not guarantee access to every attraction. Some attractions have height, weight, or age restrictions for safety reasons. These restrictions are enforced at the sole discretion of Lost Worlds staff and are non-negotiable.

Admission times are reserved. If your party arrives late, your session will not be extended, and no refund will be provided for unused time.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

General Ticket Sales

All ticket sales are final. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable to different dates or times unless otherwise noted at the time of purchase or as required by California law.

Party & Event Bookings

• Full Refund: Cancellations made within 7 days of booking and at least 7 days before the event date are eligible for a full refund.
• Deposit Forfeited: Cancellations made after the 7-day window but more than 1 month before the event will forfeit the deposit. Contact us and we will do our best to reschedule your event.
• No Refund: Cancellations within 1 month of the event date or no-shows will be charged the full booking amount, including any applicable service fees.

Summer Camp Registrations

• Full Refund: Cancellations made within 7 days of booking and at least 7 days before the camp week begins are eligible for a full refund.
• 10% Deposit Forfeited: Cancellations made after the 7-day window but more than 1 month before the camp week will forfeit 10% of the registration fee.
• No Refund: Cancellations within 1 month of the camp week, or registrations booked within 7 days of the camp start date, are non-refundable.

Gift Cards

Gift cards are non-refundable and may not be exchanged for cash. Gift cards do not expire and are valid for any purchase at Lost Worlds.

4. Memberships

Memberships are offered on a monthly or annual basis. By purchasing a membership, you agree to the following terms:

• Memberships are personal and non-transferable.
• A current photo and a valid, signed waiver must be on file at all times. Photos must be updated every two years. Waivers must be renewed at least once per calendar year.
• Membership fees are non-refundable. Monthly memberships will be charged automatically on the same date each month until cancelled.
• Memberships do not guarantee entry during peak attendance periods, special events, or private bookings.
• Members assume all inherent risks associated with participation in Lost Worlds attractions.
• Lost Worlds reserves the right to suspend, revoke, or cancel any membership at any time, with or without cause. No refund will be issued for the current billing period in such cases.
• Upgrades to a higher-tier membership are permitted at any time; the price difference will be charged immediately. Downgrades are not permitted during an active billing period.
• Members must notify us in writing of any address or contact information changes.
• We are not responsible for lost or stolen property belonging to members or their guests.

5. Party & Event Bookings

All party and event bookings are subject to availability. A deposit is required at the time of booking to hold your reservation.

• Final guest counts must be confirmed at least 72 hours (3 days) before the event.
• An 18% service fee applies to all party packages.
• Party room assignment is at the discretion of Lost Worlds management and is based on party size and scheduling. Rooms accommodate up to 60 guests.
• Outside food and beverages are not permitted, with the exception of water bottles. Walk-in parties may bring a cake or cupcakes; a $25 cake fee applies per item.
• Decorations are welcome but may not be affixed to walls. Glitter and confetti are strictly prohibited.
• Balloons are allowed; helium balloons are not.
• Activities begin and end at the scheduled times. Late arrivals will not receive extended time.
• Lost Worlds staff may end any event early if guests are not complying with facility rules.

6. Summer Camps

Summer camp enrollment is subject to availability and payment in full. By enrolling your child, you agree to the following:

• A signed waiver is required for each camper prior to the first day of camp.
• Parents or guardians must notify us of any medical conditions, allergies, or special needs at the time of registration.
• Lost Worlds staff are not licensed medical professionals. We will follow emergency procedures and contact emergency services when appropriate.
• Campers who exhibit unsafe, disruptive, or abusive behavior may be removed from the program without refund.
• Drop-off and pick-up times must be followed. Campers left beyond pick-up time may be charged a late pick-up fee.
• Lost Worlds is not responsible for personal items brought to camp.

7. Rules of Conduct

All guests are expected to behave in a safe and respectful manner. The following are prohibited at our facility:

• Running in non-designated areas.
• Roughhousing, fighting, or aggressive behavior toward other guests or staff.
• Use of alcohol, drugs, or tobacco on the premises.
• Weapons of any kind.
• Harassment, hate speech, or discrimination of any kind.
• Filming or photographing other guests without their consent.
• Tampering with safety equipment.
• Re-entry after leaving the facility (except with prior arrangement).

Lost Worlds reserves the right to remove any guest who violates these rules or creates an unsafe environment. No refund will be issued for guests removed due to conduct violations.

8. Age & Supervision

Children under 13 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian (18+) at all times. Guardians who do not participate in attractions may remain in the facility at no additional charge. Guardians who participate in attractions are subject to standard admission fees.

Our attractions have individual height, weight, and age requirements. These exist for the safety of all guests and will be enforced by our staff without exception.

Lost Worlds reusable safety socks are mandatory for all guests entering play areas, including adults who accompany children into the Super Play Structure. Socks are available for purchase at the front desk.

9. Safety & Health

For the safety of all guests, we ask that you:

• Follow all posted rules and staff instructions at all times.
• Do not use any attraction if you have a pre-existing condition that could be aggravated by physical activity.
• Notify staff immediately if you observe any unsafe behavior or conditions.
• Wear appropriate clothing and footwear (safety socks required).

Participation in our attractions involves physical activity and an inherent risk of injury. By entering the facility, guests acknowledge and accept these risks.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by California law, Playverse LLC, its officers, employees, agents, and contractors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our facility or website, including but not limited to personal injury, loss of property, or loss of data.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be excluded under California law.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on the Lost Worlds website — including text, images, graphics, logos, and videos — is the property of Playverse LLC or its licensors and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Alameda County, California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

13. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to our website with a revised "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
